Your stories as NHS turns 70

  1.
Michael Adams - They saved our daughter

The instinct and skills of the marvellous NHS workers of Winchester and Southampton hospitals saved our beautiful daughter back in November 2012.

And then the NHS staff at Winchester hospital were amazing throughout the pregnancy, delivery and first week for these little beauts in July 2015.
  2. Without our NHS Ethan would have died because of chronic lung disease, pneumonia, heart failure, renal failure. Instead he just had a new kidney from an altruistic donor and will live a full and normal life. #NHS70鈦 鈦燖GreatOrmondSt #myNHSstory
  3. #myNHSstory Our son had massive stomach haemorrhage aged 15. Rushed to hospital, it was touch & go for 5 weeks. 20+ units of blood, 5 major operations, round the clock care, a flat for us to stay on the ward together, amazing dedicated staff there for us all 鉂わ笍@SheffChildrens
  4. #myNHSstory 11 years ago I suffered an amniotic fluid embolism after the birth of my 4th child. I needed 28 units of blood. I am grateful every day to the wonderful staff and amazing blood donors who saved my life #giveblood
  5. #myNHSstory #obesity #obsmuk #NHS70 #AG百家乐在线官网news I had a gastric bypass through the NHS and it has saved my life, the staff where amazing from my gp, dietician, the surgeon and the staff on the ward. I've gone from 30st to 14st and quality of life is amazing now. Thank you #NHS

  7. Our little boy would not be here without the #nhs . He has fought to be here, whiston, @AlderHey @AlderHeyCharity & @gosh have all fought with him. Thank you will never be enough #myNHSstory
  8. #myNHSstory we take for granted the entirety of the nhs - porters, secretaries, students, domestics, nurses - everyone. They鈥檝e supported us consistently for the past 5&half years now. I鈥檝e seen so many changes in that time. They do a great job & we鈥檇 be lost without them
  9. I don鈥檛 know really where to start with #MyNHSStory but these pictures will show you what a fantastic job our doctors, nurses and surgeons do everyday. Two heart surgeries later and Jack is fighting fit. Saved my sons life and inspired him to give back #FutureDrPayne
  10. It is my miracle baby of a son's 6th birthday today - he was born at 26 weeks, weighed 730g and in intensive care for nearly 3 months. He made it thanks to the NHS Doctors and Nurses that cared for him.
  11. My brother fractured his skull a year and a half ago. When we got the call we were expecting to go up to Stoke and say goodbye. Incredibly, today he鈥檚 living independently and back driving. The NHS is the closest thing we鈥檒l ever have to an actual super hero #MyNHSStory
  12. David Ferran - I feel valued and invested in as an NHS employee
