Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger surprised staff at a Leeds gym by turning up and pumping iron.
The actor and former politician trained at the 1-RM training studio in the Yorkshire city as he was visiting for a performance on stage.
The 70-year-old seven-time Mr Olympia champion spent an hour at the gym from 10am after his session was arranged by a "friend of a friend".
The studio was closed while the Hollywood icon worked out, but several members of staff had the chance to meet their hero.
Owner, Ricky Moore, said: "It was only the staff here. I told them he was coming.
"He was here for an hour. He did some chest, a bit of back. He was very approachable - a lovely, nice guy.
"He said to me before he left, 'thank you, Ricky, I'll be back'."
He was in Leeds for a performance of his one-man interview show An Experience with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The action star is due to reprise his previous roles as robot killer The Terminator and Conan the Barbarian over the next two years.
