Boy, 15, dies after getting into difficulty in sea off Welsh beach

A 15-year-old boy has died after getting into difficulty in the sea off a Welsh beach.
He has now been named as David Ejimofor from Aberavon.
Emergency services were called to reports of a boy in the sea at Aberavon Beach, Port Talbot, on Monday evening.
South Wales Police Detective Inspector Carl Price said: "We continue to interview witnesses and gather evidence to establish the circumstances that led to this very sad and tragic incident.
"We are working with partners to support those affected and our thoughts are with David's family and friends."

A coastguard spokesperson said it coordinated a response after a report of someone in difficulty in the water at Aberavon beach" shortly after 7pm on Monday.
A coastguard helicopter, a Port Talbot RNLI lifeboat, Port Talbot and Porthcawl coastguard rescue teams were involved in the operation.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said they were called to reports of a "medical emergency" at Mariners Quay.
The service sent one emergency ambulance, two rapid response vehicles, a duty operations manager and the Wales Air Ambulance also supported the emergency response.
