The brothers of England footballers Marcus Rashford and Trent Alexander-Arnold were reportedly attacked at a restaurant when it was raided by armed robbers.
Dane Rashford and Tyler Alexander-Arnold were at the Littlerock cafe in the Moss Side area of Manchester when the robbery took place on Saturday.
Three men entered the premises with a suspected shotgun, machete and baseball bat, according to the Daily Mail.
Three people were injured during the incident.
A white Range Rover was stolen, which was later found abandoned around two miles away in Fallowfield.
Two guns were discovered in a nearby bush and seized by police as part of their investigation.
Greater Manchester Police arrested six people - four men aged 18, 19, 23 and 58 and two teenagers aged 17 - on suspicion of robbery.
A post on Littlerock's Facebook page said staff and customers had been left "traumatised" by the incident.
"We send our deepest sympathies to the customers that got injured in the incident that took place, we hope they have a speedy recovery.
"From the Littlerock staff, we thank you for supporting us through this difficult time."
GMP Superintendent Mark Dexter said: "Thankfully no one was seriously injured, but the victims have been left understandably shaken following this incident.
"It is thanks to the swift action of our officers that we now have six men in custody, but this investigation is still very much ongoing and officers will be in the area continuing with inquiries."
Marcus Rashford scored for Manchester United in the club's 1-0 win away to Tottenham on Sunday.
Trent Alexander-Arnold played in Liverpool's 1-0 win at Brighton on Saturday.
