Cardiff: Two teenagers in 'critical condition' after alleged city centre assault

Two teenagers are in a critical condition after an alleged serious assault in the centre of Cardiff on Tuesday night.
South Wales Police said the incident happened at around 8.45pm in the Welsh capital's Central Square.
Officers said two males aged 18 and 17 remained in hospital with stab wounds.
Police cordons were in place in the city centre on Wednesday, including on St Mary Street.
They have all since been removed and the force has thanked members of the community for their support, understanding and patience.

Detective Superintendent Tom Moore said "extensive enquiries" were ongoing to establish the circumstances.
"CCTV footage from surrounding buildings has been recovered which will help us piece together the events which unfolded," he said.
"It is understood two groups of young people were in the area prior to the assault and we would appeal for anyone with information or footage to please come forward."
