Police are becoming "increasingly concerned" for a 12-year-old girl who has gone missing in London.

Officers are searching for Charleigh Fearnehough, who was last seen at 4.30pm on Easter Sunday after going missing from the Hornsey Road area of Islington.

It is believed she had white and blue trainers on, police said on Sunday.

The Metropolitan Police renewed its appeal for information about her whereabouts on Monday, with anyone who sees her asked to call 999.

Anyone with other information about her whereabouts is asked to call 101 quoting reference 4880/17APR.
