The family of a woman who died in a crash with a tractor in Denbighshire have paid tribute to a "selfless animal lover".

North Wales Police have confirmed 39-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Grimshaw died in hospital on Tuesday 27 February.

The collision happened shortly after 7am on Tuesday 30 January.

Ms Grimshaw, from the Chirk area, was described by her family as "the kindest, most selfless wife, daughter, sister, Brownie leader and animal lover".

They said she had the ability to "walk into a room and brighten up everyone's day".

"Sarah will be dearly missed by so many whose lives will be forever darker without her," they added.

Officers say the crash, involving a green tractor and a white Kia Rio, took place on Abbey Road in Llangollen.
