The fiancee of a bouncer who was stabbed to death while trying to stop gatecrashers storming an exclusive party has appealed for help in tracking down his suspected murderer.

Tudor Simionov, 33, was knifed in the chest when he went to the aid of colleagues working on the door of an unlicensed party at a luxury property in Mayfair in the early hours of New Year's Day.

Alleged knifeman Ossama Hamed was part of a group of gatecrashers who turned violent when they were refused entry to the event, the Old Bailey heard.

Hamed, 26, from Hillingdon, is believed to have fled to Morocco and remains wanted by police for murder, wounding and violent disorder.

Mr Simionov's fiancee, Madalina Anghel, has said that finding Hamed would "help me find closure after all that has happened".

"Someone, somewhere must know where he is," she said.

Five other members of staff were injured during the six-minute brawl, which was captured on mobile phone footage.

Hamed, who police believe played a "significant role" in the attack, fled the country the following day.

Two men - Adam Khalil, 21, from Brent, and Haroon Akram, 26, from Fulham - pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the second day of their trial.

Ahmed Munajed, 26, from Hammersmith, pleaded guilty to violent disorder.

Barber Nor Hamada, from Wembley, was found guilty of violent disorder but jurors could not reach a verdict on a murder charge.

Adham el Shalakany, 24, from Hammersmith, was cleared of violent disorder and Hamed's girlfriend Shaymaa Lamrani, 26, of Ealing, was found not guilty of perverting the course of justice after being accused of throwing away Hamed's knife.

Romanian Mr Simionov had only recently moved to the UK when he was killed.

Appealing for help finding his suspected killer, his fiancee said he had "gone to work as normal when his life was suddenly taken away".

Ms Anghel said: "We were meant to be getting married this summer but instead of attending our wedding, I have been attending court.

"Instead of going to the church to arrange our wedding I was going to the church to bury him. My life has been turned upside down."

The pair had met at university in Romania three years ago and moved to London last year to start a new life.

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Garry Moncrieff, who led the investigation, said Tudor's family had been left "completely devastated" and "their lives will never be the same".

He said: "We believe Ossama Hamed played a significant role in this attack and we are determined to find him and get Tudor's family the justice they deserve.

"Anyone who thinks they may know his whereabouts or has any information which could help lead us to him is urged to call the incident room on 0208 358 0300."
