Five stabbed in the space of two hours in London on Friday night

Three separate attacks took place across London in Shepherd's Bush, Bromley and Barking between 6pm and 8pm on Friday.

Five people were stabbed in the space of two hours on Friday night in a spate of knife attacks across London.

In the first attack, two boys, both believed to be 16 years old, were stabbed close to Barking station in east London just before 6pm.

Officers were called to Station Parade in Barking at 5.55pm after reports of a man being seen with a knife, and found the boys upon arrival.

The boys were then taken to hospital, and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A Section 60 order, which gives police enhanced stop-and-search powers, was in place in the area until 7am on Saturday.

A teenage boy was taken to an east London police station on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm.

At 7.15pm on Friday, police were called to Abdale Road in Shepherd's Bush in west London following reports of an "altercation" between two men.

Two men, aged 21 and 19, were found with stab injuries, and were taken to hospital in an ambulance.

No arrests have since been made and police remain at the scene.

As in Barking, a Section 60 order was put in place for the whole of the Hammersmith and Fulham borough.

In the third attack of the evening, police were called to Beckenham in south London at 8pm where a man was found with knife injuries on Churchfields Road.

A man, whose age is unknown, was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

No arrests have yet been made.
