A suspect has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who died in hospital after a stabbing at a block of flats in Aberdeen.
Jacek Dembinski, 44, was found with serious injuries outside Rosehill Court at about 4.30pm on Tuesday.
Mr Dembinski, from the city, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he died on Thursday.
In a statement released through Police Scotland, his family said: "Jacek was a much-loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and stepfather.
"He will be greatly missed by all. We ask for our privacy as a family to be respected at this difficult time."
Dawid Majewicz, 43, was arrested and charged in connection with Mr Dembinski's death.
Majewicz made no plea to the single murder charge when he appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday.
The suspect, of the city, was remanded in custody and is due back in the dock within the next eight days.
