Man charged over assault on woman in Helensburgh
Police Scotland have arrested and charged a 35-year-old man after a woman was allegedly assaulted in Helensburgh's Hood Court last week.

A man has been charged after a woman was allegedly assaulted by an intruder in the middle of the night.
Police said the 35-year-old is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court "in due course" in connection with the incident, alleged to have taken place in Helenburgh's Hood Court at around 1am last Wednesday.

The victim reportedly suffered head and wrist injuries and was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment.
