Meghan pays tribute to murdered South African student at spot where she was killed

The Duchess of Sussex has visited the site where a teenager was raped and murdered in South Africa, in a case that sparked outrage across the country.
Meghan paid tribute to 19-year-old University of Cape Town student Uyinene Mrwetyana at the post office where she was beaten to death last month.
The royal left a yellow ribbon on which she had written a message in the local language Xhosa that said: "We stand together in this situation. Harry and Meghan September 26, 2019."
The killing of the popular teenager, known as Nene, has triggered a wave of protests in South Africa amid anger at the high rates of violence against women.
An image of the duchess at the scene was posted on the royal couple's official Instagram account.

Entitled "Simi kunye kulesisimo" - "We stand together in this moment", it said Meghan had gone "to pay her respects and to show solidarity with those who have taken a stand against gender based violence (GBV) and femicide".
It added: "Visiting the site of this tragic death and being able to recognise Uyinene, and all women and girls effected by GBV (specifically in South Africa, but also throughout the world) was personally important to the duchess.
"Uyinene's death has mobilised people across South Africa in the fight against gender based violence, and is seen as a critical point in the future of women's rights in South Africa.
"The duchess has taken private visits and meetings over the last two days to deepen her understanding of the current situation and continue to advocate for the rights of women and girls."
Meghan and baby Archie have remained in South Africa while Prince Harry visits Botswana, Angola and Malawi.
A 42-year-old male post office employee has been arrested over the murder of Ms Mrwetyana.
