Pedestrian in 'critical condition' after 'serious collision' on M4 at Margam
The Welsh Ambulance Service was called to the crash at around 2.22am. South Wales Police said the road was expected to remain closed for some time.

A pedestrian is in a critical condition after a "serious collision" which left part of the M4 closed in both directions.
South Wales Police are investigating the crash which happened on the M4 at junction 38 Margam at around 2.15am.
A white heavy goods vehicle, a blue Kia Venga and a pedestrian were involved in the crash, police said.
The pedestrian was taken to University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff where they remain in a critical condition.
The road has been closed westbound between Junction 38 Margam and Junction 39 Groes.
Eastbound the road was closed from junctions 40 to 38 but has since reopened.
The Welsh Ambulance Service said it was called at around 2.22am to reports of a road traffic collision between junctions 38 and 39.
Traffic Wales, the Welsh government's motorway and trunk road information service, said on Wednesday morning that there were delays of around one hour on surrounding routes.
The road is expected to remain closed for some time.

"We sent one duty operational manager, one hazardous area response team and one emergency ambulance to the scene where we were supported by colleagues from the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service who travelled by car and pre-hospital immediate care specialists from MEDSERVE Wales," a Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said.
South Wales Police has asked anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage to contact the force.
