Police are appealing for help to find a woman who is believed to be injured after she was carried on a car bonnet for 30 yards in a hit-and-run crash.

Footage filmed by a member of the public shows the woman dancing in the road in Engineers Way, near Wembley Arena, at around 11.10pm on Thursday.

The Met Police has said the video shows her narrowly avoiding passing vehicles before a car drives into her and carries her for 30 yards, or 27m (90ft), before she is thrown to the floor.

The force added the car did not stop at the scene.

Members of the public called an ambulance but the woman was no longer there when officers and paramedics arrived.
