A "reckless" driver is being hunted by police after an apparent road rage incident.
IT consultant Dave Clifton was nearly hit by the driver of the black Audi A3 in Clapham, southwest London, at around 8am on Wednesday.
It came after Mr Clifton witnessed the driver arguing with two other cyclists.
Later, the same car narrowly missed Mr Clifton near the railway bridge at Clapham North station.
Mr Clifton said the driver nearly knocked him into the road after overtaking another cyclist in the bus lane.
When the pair were stopped at a later set of lights, the driver threw things at the cyclist from his car.
Police said that when the lights went green, the driver turned his car around and drove towards the cyclist.
The car then turned into a side street, where a witness said it nearly hit another cyclist before arguing with them.
A crowd had gathered by now and the driver turned his car around and drove onto the pavement.
An unmarked police car arrived and the officer got out.
The driver then reversed at speed and disappeared down the road.
Mr Clifton, 50, said: "It's worrying having drivers on the road like that, certainly.
"It's all just really bizarre.
"I don't know if he's just having a bad morning or what.
"He seems to be picking on everybody."
Detective Constable James Preston said: "We are aware of footage of this incident is circulating on social media, and we want to reassure the public that it is being fully investigated.
"Luckily no-one was seriously injured or even killed by this reckless driver.
"We are still trying to trace him and urge anyone who recognises him to contact the police as soon as possible.
"The sooner you call us, the sooner we can take this dangerous driver off the road."
Witnesses should contact 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
