Prince Harry wins round one of tabloid battle - but he's far from finished

If taking on the tabloid press is Harry's "life's work", he's just won round one.

This judgment rules that Prince Harry is a victim of phone hacking. It also found hacking was widespread and known about by senior executives.

But what will perhaps be more important to Harry, is the judge's finding about Piers Morgan.

The judge says editors like Morgan "clearly knew about or were involved in unlawful information gathering".

This will be particularly welcomed by Harry, who claims he and Meghan have faced a "barrage of horrific personal attacks and intimidation" from Morgan as a result of the claim.

And Harry's statement makes it clear he now wants the police to investigate.

While giving evidence, Harry said he would feel "some injustice" if his claim was unsuccessful.
