Prisoner on the run after absconding from Suffolk jail

A prisoner who is serving time for robbery and theft has absconded from Hollesley Bay in Suffolk.
Gerry Sergeant, 61, was due back at the prison at 8pm on Friday after attending a work placement, but failed to return.
He had been due to come back from Bury St Edmunds by motorbike, police said.
He is serving a 15 year sentence.
Police have urged members of the public not to approach Sergeant if they see him.
He has been described as 5ft 11in, thin, with brown eyes, white hair and tattoos on both forearms.
He was on a red Honda 125cc motorbike with the registration AO11 VMZ.
