South Yorkshire Police motorcyclist dies in crash with car in Ecclesfield
Tributes have been paid to the 40-year-old officer.

A police motorcyclist聽has died after being involved in a crash with a car while responding to an incident.
South Yorkshire Police said the 40-year-old officer was responding to reports of a silver BMW failing to stop for officers in Ecclesfield, near Sheffield, at about 1pm on Tuesday when the collision took place.
The officer was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards.
The vehicle involved in the crash was a blue Toyota Avensis and the driver, a 59-year-old man, remains in hospital having suffered minor injuries.
Tributes have been paid to the officer.
Home Secretary Priti Patel tweeted: "The saddest news. Deeply tragic & my thoughts are with the family of this distinguished officer."
Police forces across England have also paid tribute to the officer.
Cheshire Police said on Twitter: "All of our thoughts are with the officer's family, friends and colleagues at South Yorkshire Police at this time."
The Metropolitan Police Federation tweeted: "Very sad news as South Yorkshire Police tonight confirm the on duty death of an officer. Our thoughts are with the officers family, friends and colleagues. #PoliceFamily."
South Yorkshire Police posted a short a tribute to the officer on Twitter, which said: "Today one of our officers died whilst on duty in Sheffield. It is with great sadness that we issue the following statement about his death."
In the statement, the force said: "Our specialist officers are supporting the officers family and the driver of the Avensis.
"We are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who has information about what happened to contact us. You should call 101 quoting incident number 374 of 21 April 2020."
