Bashar al Assad's 24-year dictatorship collapsed over the weekend as rebel forces took control of the Syrian capital Damascus.
Assad and his family have reportedly fled to Moscow under the protection of his long-term ally President Vladimir Putin, ending a 13-year civil war that's believed to have killed over 350,000 people.
