President Trump has turned from pomp to business and politics on the second day of his state visit to the UK, as demonstrators were out in force against him. Here is Mr Trump's day in pictures.
Mr Trump ended the day with a dinner to thank the royal family for their hospitality. Prince Charles and Camilla, duchess of Cornwall, were there to represent the Queen.
And Theresa May sat to his left and listened as he talked expressively.
But the trip was just about pomp and pageantry - it was about power, too.
He was visited at Winfield House by Brexiteers Iain Duncan Smith and Owen Paterson, as well as Nigel Farage.
Meanwhile, on the streets of London, thousands of people protested at the Trump visit.
The US leader began by having breakfast with Theresa May and business chiefs, before visiting Downing Street for more talks with her.
If he was bothered by the nearby protests at Parliament Square, Mr Trump didn't show it. And he urged the outgoing prime minister to "stick around" and conclude a US-UK trade deal.
Despite the Whitehall demonstrations attended by thousands, not everyone was against Mr Trump's visit and his supporters turned their anger on London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who has boycotted the trip and was called a "stone cold loser" by the president.
Speaking to protesters, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, who has boycotted Mr Trump this week, said: "I am very disappointed, particularly today on the wonderful festival of Eid, that our mayor of London Sadiq Khan has been attacked in the way that he has."
On to Downing Street for the visiting president and the classic picture outside the door with their spouses before talks with Mrs May.
At a news conference later, Mr Trump claimed Mr Corbyn had asked to meet him while he was in the UK but he refused.
A Labour spokesman said: "Jeremy Corbyn proposed a meeting with Donald Trump during the president's visit."
