Police have charged a 21-year-old man with murder after a fire at a mental health centre in north London.
Jordan Bramble will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Tuesday following the death of a 46-year-old man at Highgate Mental Health Centre on Dartmouth Park Hill on Sunday.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 7.05am - about half an hour after police and paramedics were called to the facility due to the suspicious circumstances.
Nobody else was injured in the fire, but a spokeswoman for London Fire Brigade said that part of a room on the ground floor of the building had been destroyed by flames.
Scotland Yard said a 30-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder - who was at the scene alongside Bramble - has been released under investigation while officers continue their inquiries.
Meanwhile, the family of the victim have been told and a post-mortem will take place soon.
