What should happen to captured Islamic State fighters from the UK?

Britain and America are set for a diplomatic row over the fate of captured Islamic State fighters.
UK Government ministers believe Alexanda Kotey and El Shafee Elsheikh, who grew up in west London, should not return to the UK to face trial after being detained in Syria.
But US officials want jihadists to return to their country of origin.
It has also been suggested militants held in Syria and Iraq should be sent to the International Criminal Court in The Hague, while US President Donald Trump has signalled he wants Islamic State fighters to be sent to Guantanamo Bay.
