Woman charged with 'wasting police time' after Nairn sex assault and robbery claim
A 39-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with wasting police time and will appear at Inverness Sheriff Court at a later date.

A woman has been charged in connection with wasting police time following an investigation into a report of a sex assault and robbery.
Detectives launched a probe into claims a woman was attacked on a riverside footpath between Church Road and Jubilee Bridge in Nairn on 17 February.
At the time, Police Scotland reported the woman was sexually assaulted by a man while a woman stole her purse.
However, the force has since completed a "comprehensive investigation" and concluded "no sexual crime or robbery has occurred".

Detective Chief Inspector Ross Hamill said: "I would like to thank the public for coming forward following the appeals for information.
"We are aware of the impact this incident has had on the local community and would like to reassure the public that officers have carried out extensive enquiries to establish the full circumstances.
"All lines of enquiry have now been completed following a comprehensive investigation.
"We are content that no sexual crime or robbery has occurred."
