Woman dies after fire rips through block of flats in Scotland

A woman has died after a blaze ripped through a block of flats in Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were called to Belmont Road in the Gallowhill area of Paisley after the alarm was raised at around 10.40pm on Thursday.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said six vehicles and two aerial rescue platforms were sent to the two-storey building, where crews extinguished the "well-developed fire".
Police Scotland confirmed a 38-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A force spokesperson appealed for information about the blaze, adding: "Officers remain in attendance and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
Photos taken at the scene showed the blaze across the building's roof as smoke billowed into the AG百家乐在线官网.

The SFRS said the fire took hold within a first-floor flat.
A spokesperson said: "Firefighters located one woman from inside the property who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"Our thoughts are very much with her family, friends and all of those affected at this difficult time.
"A joint fire investigation alongside our Police Scotland colleagues is now under way."
