A tree surgeon saved a woman from her car after she drove through flood waters in Sheffield.
Rich Hamshaw and Ryan Mastin were driving through the flooded road when they heard a scream coming from behind them.
Having got through the waters in a Humvee, the pair looked back and spotted a car floating on the surface.
Remaining calm, Mr Hamshaw and Mr Mastin waded over to the car where they found an older woman stranded.
Mr Hamshaw smashed the back window of the car and pulled the lady out.
As she got out, she asked to keep going in the same direction she had been driving, but was met with laughter because of the depth of the water.
Mr Hamshaw and Mr Mastin carried her through the waist high floodwater, before checking she had not suffered any injuries.
She was picked up by a family member.
Storm Bronagh brought high winds and rain to much of Wales and parts of England when it arrived in the wake of Storm Ali.
It is expected to cause travel disruption throughout the day on Friday.
Winds are expected to reach up to 60mph, and the police have warned that rush-hour travellers may face delays because of fallen trees and power cables.
The Met Office has also urged the public to take care, as flying debris could pose a "danger to life".
