You're barred! British pub drinkers say if Vladimir Putin walked in they'd 'wreck him'

Regulars at the Staffordshire public house say if the Moscow leader ever came in for a pint, they would 'wreck him', according to the landlady.

A British pub landlady says she has barred Vladimir Putin from drinking at her inn - and reckons that if the Russian president walked in, her punters would "wreck him".

Sam Rice, who runs the Loaf and Cheese in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, said the war in Ukraine was "all our customers are talking about".

And she even made the announcement in her local paper.

Speaking to Sky News, she added: "What he is doing is just wrong - and people here feel very strongly about it."
