British expat David Hunter freed in mercy killing case in Cyprus
Janice Hunter, 74, died of asphyxiation at the couple's retirement home near Paphos in December 2021. Her husband David, 76, admitted killing his wife but denied murder. Despite his two-year sentence, Hunter has been released today because of time he has already served behind bars.
