Nicola Sturgeon formally resigns as first minister of Scotland
The former SNP leader announced last month that she would stand down. Humza Yousaf beat Ash Regan and Kate Forbes in the contest to replace Ms Sturgeon as SNP leader - and become the first Muslim to lead a major UK party.
