TikTok 'committed to be free from manipulation' by Chinese government, says CEO

TikTok will be blocked from UK parliament's devices and network in the latest ban imposed on the Chinese-owned social media app.

TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew said that the social media app 'does not promote or remove content' at the request of the Chinese government, adding that 'it is our commitment that we will keep TikTok free from any manipulation by any government'.
