Ukraine War: Putin blames the West for starting the war with the aim of bringing it to a global stage
In his "state of the nation" address, Russian President Vladimir Putin blamed the West for "trying to inflict strategic defeat on Russia". Putin also blamed the West and the "Kyiv regime" for starting the war.
