US: A 7-year-old girl has been killed at a beach in Florida after she was buried in sand
Sloan Mattingly and her brother, Maddox, were digging a hole in the sand when it collapsed around them, burying them both. Her brother was successfully rescued, after being buried up to his chest in sand, but Sloan was under the sand for several minutes and did not survive.
