US and Europe accuse China of overproduction and dumping electric cars on global market
More than half of all new electric cars sold worldwide are from China and it can make them cheaper and faster than its competitors. Europe is investigating slapping tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles and the US have called them an 'existential threat' to America's auto industry.
