Biography
Sally anchored a range of programmes from the studio and the field for Sky News. She also regularly hosted the Sky News Daily podcast.
Previously, Sally was a correspondent. Her most recent deployments have been to Ukraine reporting around the country and anchoring our coverage of the war from Kyiv.
Prior to this Sally was based in the US during one of the most eventful chapters in American history - a deeply divisive presidential election, the pandemic, the storming of Congress and the killing of George Floyd.
Sally was one of the few international journalists who flew into Italy as it became the first country in Europe to enter lockdown, reporting intensely for 7 weeks as the virus began to sweep the globe. Sky News received an RTS award for coverage of the pandemic in Italy.
Prior to joining Sky News, Sally was a reporter for ITN, covering stories across Europe. She also spent six months working for Forces News in Afghanistan.
